It all started for me on this stage, so it was an incredible feeling to come back 20 years later and light that stage on fire!!! This song is a song about resilience and independence - and about fighting for yourself when nobody else does. As I was performing, I thought about everything I had to go through to get to this moment…everyone who didn’t believe me, everyone who doubted me and everyone that tried to stand in my way. I have released this album independently, through my own label and I’ve been able to do it my way. So thank you all for backing me, believing in me and for supporting this album!
